  • Fellow Community Members at CU Boulder

Our group of students, composed of different individuals, are writing positive notes that we hope make someone smile! We posted these notes around the UMC (on Thursday October 21) and hope community members walking by take to heart the words we have written or even just laugh at the, what we hope are funny and uplifting, messages. Our goal is to make someone smile and re-affirm that each student and those passing by are loved and worthy of all they want and hope for themselves.

  • mind. body. voice.

Our group will have a table outside of either Norlin or UMC and will have a values activity. Students will be able to participate in a variety of ways depending on their availability and interest. We will have a mini values card sort where students can identify their top guiding values. We will have a values bracelet making station where they then can make their own bracelet with their top value. We will also have some value bracelets pre-made where we will invite students to take one and pass one on to a loved one as a way to further the act of kindness. Every values bracelet will get a baggie with a resource card in as well. We feel like identifying our top values can be a tool to help ground us when we are experiencing hard times or difficulties. We cannot wait to participate!!!

Just write a small 350 blurb about how they have impacted you and submit to this website after creating an account: https://otms.nrhh.org/
